Around Sunset at Votiv Park – Watercolor & Watercolor pencil
This is my first attempt at so-called Urban Sketching with the Urban Sketching Vienna Group.
The Urban Sketching group consisted of about ten illustrators and we looked around in the park surrounding the Votiv church in Vienna for a good spot to sketch. Most of us used watercolor to put our impressions to paper.
It turned out, at the beginning of September, the sun sets rather quickly so I had to finish this watercolor painting at home, which gave me to opportunity to add more details.
I look forward painting more in the city and capturing urban live in Vienna.
