Zakynthian Mermaid
At the Summer Academy (SOAK) in Zakynthos I enjoyed working with watercolor on a larger paper format. I captured the colors and style of this greek island and experimented with intricate lines intertwining and catching the filtered light in the Ionan sea.
This painting came developed over a one week period. It was simply amazing for me to be painting outside under old trees near an old ruin with the sea visible in the si.
