A Single Cover for THE Summer Song 2017
Vienna based pop singer AMIRO asked me to create a cover design for his summer song “Mal schaun” which means in Viennese slang “Well, let's see”.

The song is about enjoying life despite the many daily choices and temptations. But also about not wanting to commit to one or the other.

The bright color scheme reflects the many facets of AMIRO's personality and the choices every day has to offer.

Development
My original idea was to put different choices: objects and places to go to inside a styled version of Amiro.
I took a picture and used only some lines and two main colors to realize this idea. However, despite the many hours put into drawing the Museums Quartier and playing with a typographic solution, the result didn't satisfy me because it didn't do the sunny, happy song justice.
When AMIRO came up with the idea of using a bright color palette I knew this was the way to go and created this artwork for his song.
